The jury of Prof. Tadeusz Kotarbi\u0144ski competition has selected five books that will compete for the title of the best humanistic work published in Poland in 2020. Every year, the jury selects the five best works in philosophy, history, psychology, literary studies and philosophy of law.<\/p>\n
In the seventh competition for the Award of the First Rector of the University of Lodz, Prof. Tadeusz Kotarbi\u0144ski, 70 works published in 2020 were submitted to the competition what is almost a record in the history of the event led by the \u0141\u00f3d\u017a University.<\/p>\n
Following books reached the finals: Stefan Konsta\u0144czak, “The Ethics of Independent in Poland”, published by the Publishing House of the University of Zielona G\u00f3ra (submitted for the competition by the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Zielona G\u00f3ra),<\/p>\n
Dorota Korwin-Piotrowska “Eutorics. A thing about good (talk)speech”, published by the Publishing House of the Jagiellonian University,<\/p>\n
Krzysztof Stachewicz “Experience the true reality. Prolegomena to the philosophy of mysticism\u201d. Vol. 1., “Philosophy of mystical experience”, Vol. 2. “Man in the face of mystical experience”, published by the publishing house of the Faculty of Theology of the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Pozna\u0144,<\/p>\n
Zbigniew Szmyt “Too loud historicity. Using the Past in Inner Asia “, published by Scientific Publishers of the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Pozna\u0144,<\/p>\n
Collective work edited by Danuta Ulicka \u201cThe Age of Theory. 100 years of Polish literary studies\u201d, published by the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences.<\/p>\n
Prof. Ryszard Kleszcz, a member of the jury emphasizes that the works submitted to the competition belong to various disciplines. They involve the use of various research tools and methodologies and contain various visions of the world and a man. This diverse collection of dissertations constitutes an interesting picture of Polish humanities.<\/p>\n
