More than 800 companies have already benefited from the unique \u0141ukasiewicz Challenges system. To serve the ever-increasing demand for innovative solutions, the \u0141ukasiewicz Network wants to recruit 2 000 new employees in the research and development sector in the next two years.<\/h5>\n<p>&#8220;The \u0141ukasiewicz Challenge System was a revolution in Polish conditions &#8211; we began to quickly and effectively collide the needs of companies and the potential of scientists. Within 15 days of receiving an application, we prepare a proposal for solving a technological problem together with a team, budget and work schedule&#8221;, says Piotr Dardzi\u0144ski, President of the \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network.<\/p>\n<p>2,000 new R&amp;D jobs will be created within 2 years. Innovators will join teams leading advanced research projects, including those carried out in international consortia, e.g. under Horizon Europe. The fact that it is possible to stop the so-called brain drain in Poland is evidenced by the results of \u0141ukasiewicz&#8217;s work to date, e.g. in the field of biotechnology.<\/p>\n<p>Scientists with experience of working in the best research centres in the world are attracted by the concept of the \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network, which combines high-class science with an implementation component and the possibility to commercialise the effects of research.<\/p>\n<p>Piotr Dardzi\u0144ski, President of the \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network, claims that the institution he runs is able to invest in the best people. &#8220;We implement long-term talent development programmes and have the largest number of implementation doctoral students in Poland&#8221;, he adds.<\/p>\n<p>As an example, he cites a pilot programme launched by \u0141ukasiewicz in autumn 2022 to employ finalists and laureates of science olympiads.
