Eleven royal residences in Poland have prepared a free offer for visitors as part of the Free November campaign. “This is a unique action to broaden access to our museum pearls, the royal residences, which is being implemented for the 11th time in response to public requests for better and easier access to museums”, said Minister of Culture and National Heritage Piotr Gli\u0144ski.<\/h5>\n

The residences taking part in the campaign include the Wawel Royal Castle, the Royal \u0141azienki Museum in Warsaw, the King John III Palace Museum in Wilan\u00f3w, the Royal Castle in Pozna\u0144, the Lublin Castle, the Malbork Castle with its branches in Sztum and Kwidzyn, the Royal Castle in Sandomierz, the Saltworks Castle in Wieliczka and the Royal Castle in Warsaw. Visitors can explore permanent and temporary exhibitions and take part in educational meetings, lectures, conferences, workshops and museum lessons.<\/p>\n

“I am very pleased that in recent years we have increased the number of museums that make their interiors and excellent exhibitions accessible. The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage has earmarked just over PLN 3 million for the campaign, but this is really money well invested. It is worth paying it to allow to experience culture at such a high level. The extremely interesting exhibitions prepared by our museum institutions in recent years have been extremely successful”, pointed out the Minister.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the campaign, royal residences are making a significant part of their offer available and free of charge for a whole month. The number of institutions participating in the campaign is growing. Since the beginning, the Wawel Royal Castle, the Royal \u0141azienki Museum in Warsaw, the King John III Palace Museum in Wilan\u00f3w and the Royal Castle in Warsaw have been participating.<\/p>\n

In recent years, museums in Sandomierz, Lublin and Malbork, as well as the Saltworks Castle in Wieliczka, have been added. This year, the Royal Castle in Pozna\u0144 and the castles in Kwidzyn and Sztum – branches of the Castle Museum in Malbork – have joined the campaign.<\/p>\n
