President Andrzej Duda also tweeted about the conversation with the Ukrainian leader. He announced that he would discuss Russian crimes with other leaders.<\/p>\n
“We spoke about the need to isolate Russia, which today has committed massive war crimes. Such crimes have no time limitations and are prosecuted all over the world”, said the Polish president.<\/p>\n
On Monday, there was a massive Russian missile attack on several cities in most regions of Ukraine. Missiles hit, among others, the centre of Kyiv, Zaporozhye and cities in Dnipropetrovsk and Mykolaiv regions. The activation of missile defence systems and explosions were reported by regional authorities in the west of the country, in Lviv, Ternopil and Khmelnytskyi.<\/p>\n
According to initial reports, eight people were killed and 24 injured in the Ukrainian capital alone. According to the latest findings of the State Emergency Situations Service cited by Reuters – at least 11 people lost their lives and 64 were injured across the country.<\/p>\n
“The Russian attacks were also the subject of urgent consultations between President Andrzej Duda and the NATO Secretary General. Jens Stoltenberg thanked Poland for its key participation in the North Atlantic Alliance countries’ support for Ukraine”, said the President’s Office.<\/p>\n
