The parties to the agreement declare cooperation with respect to building a positive image of Polish enterprises as stable trade and investment partners.<\/p>\n
“We will use our many years of international experience in building trade and investment relations. We want to strengthen KGHM’s position on the global market, as well as to activate other companies to expand abroad”, said Jerzy Paluchniak, KGHM’s Vice President for Foreign Assets.<\/p>\n
The letter of intent also assumes taking initiatives related to the development of sales of Polish products and services or involving companies in international value chains – such as distribution, production and marketing, through the KGHM Group.<\/p>\n
The scope of cooperation between the copper company and PAIH also includes substantive support through the participation of representatives of the parties in seminars or thematic conferences. There are also plans to organise joint events, including economic missions, investment missions, B2B meetings, seminars and training sessions.<\/p>\n
The parties will also engage in the promotion of Polish start-ups on the international arena and joint promotional activities to attract entrepreneurs to Poland and Polish exports.<\/p>\n
KGHM, in line with its business strategy, is seeking to expand its resource base and product portfolio. Among other things, the copper company is developing prospective mining and exploration projects.<\/p>\n
The mission of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency is to increase the inflow of foreign direct investment into the country and the range and dynamics of the internationalisation of Polish companies.<\/p>\n
