In 2022, the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways is planning to open more than 345km of roads to traffic. This plan includes the last section of A1, from Piotrk\u00f3w Trybunalski to Kamie\u0144sk, which will complete the north-south motorway connection. The A1 motorway will shorten the drive from Gdansk to the Polish border with the Czech Republic to approximately 5 hours with a break for rest, informs the cire.pl portal.<\/p>\n
The S7 expressway from Warsaw via P\u0142o\u0144sk, M\u0142awa and further Nidzica, Elbl\u0105g to the Tri-City is of key importance for many travelers.\u00a0In December 2021, the sections from M\u0142awa to Pienki were commissioned, and next year, two more sections will be made available in the full road: Napierki – M\u0142awa and Pie\u0144ki – P\u0142o\u0144sk.\u00a0In the first half of 2022 a smooth two-lane drive from Warsaw to the sea (the Vistula Spit or the Hel Peninsula) will be available.<\/p>\n
Drivers departing from Warsaw via the S7 expressway south will also gain two sections.\u00a0This means that it will be possible to travel this road from Warsaw to the border of the\u00a0\u015awi\u0119tokrzyskie and Ma\u0142opolskie provinces. In Ma\u0142opolska province, the tunnel will connect the operating sections of the S7 between Lubie\u0144 and Rabka Zdr\u00f3j.<\/p>\n
Next year will bring the commissioning of the express road between Lublin and Rzesz\u00f3w.\u00a0Hence, Via Carpatia in Poland will be extended by more than 28 km, and people driving from the north of the country to the Bieszczady Mountains will gain a comfortable connection thanks to the two sections of S19 being delivered: Niedrzwica Du\u017cy – Kra\u015bnik and Zdziary – Rudnik nad Sanem.<\/p>\n
The 2022 year will also see a release of new kilometers of the Via Baltica route in Poland.\u00a0New fragments of S61 will appear in the Podlasie and Warmian-Masurian Voivodeships, extending the existing road.\u00a0The section \u0141om\u017ca Po\u0142udnie – \u0141om\u017ca Zach\u00f3d with an exit to DK61, Szczuczyn – E\u0142k Po\u0142udnie and a section from the end of the Suwa\u0142ki bypass to the border with Lithuania in Budzisko will be also commissioned.<\/p>\n
The A1 motorway will be connected to the S5 route towards Bydgoszcz, Pozna\u0144 and Wroc\u0142aw.\u00a0This will shorten the travel time by car from the Tri-City to the capital of Greater Poland.\u00a0It will also be easier to bypass the crowded route from the Tri-City near Wejherowo, as three sections of the S6, Bo\u017cepole Wielkie – Gdynia Wielki Kack will be also put into service.<\/p>\n
