The survey states that cashless payments are most often chosen by younger people. More than 80 % of respondents aged 18-39 regularly make transactions using a card, phone or watch, and most of them do so whenever they have the opportunity.<\/p>\n
In contrast, older people are most used to cash. It is noteworthy, however, that almost 40 % of respondents over 70 years of age pay cashless at least once a week, while the rest do it very rarely.<\/p>\n
The survey showed that people living in medium-sized and large cities most appreciate the speed and convenience of cashless payments. Approximately three quarters of respondents in this group make them regularly.<\/p>\n
The lesser popularity of cashless payments can be seen in rural areas, while it is still almost 60 % of respondents who settle without cash a minimum of once a week or more.<\/p>\n
In terms of income, people earning between PLN 5,000 and PLN 6,999 net per month pay cashless most often. More than two-thirds (66%) of them do so whenever there is an opportunity.<\/p>\n
The survey showed that almost 60% of respondents are interested in the possibility of completing transactions via a mobile application installed on a smartphone or tablet. Such an option is most attractive to 18\u201329-year-olds (over 80 %) and 30\u201339-year-olds (over 70 %), as well as to residents of large cities and rural areas.<\/p>\n
