According to the Electromobility Counter, more than 52,000 electric vehicles were used on Polish roads at the end of July; for the first seven months of this year, their number increased by 44% compared to the same period in 2021. In July, 61 new charging stations were launched.<\/h5>\n

Until the end of July 2022, a total of 52,881 electric cars were registered in Poland. 50 679 of them were electric passenger cars. Fully electric cars (BEVs, battery electric vehicles) made up 49 % (24,748 units) of this part of the vehicles, with PHEVs, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles making up the remaining amount of 51% (25,931 units). The electric vans and trucks comprised 2,202 vehicles.<\/p>\n

Data from the Electromobility Counter shows that the number of electric mopeds and motorbikes also continues to grow, comprising 14,967 units at the end of July, as well as the number of hybrid cars and vans, which increased to 419,222 units. At the end of last month, Poland’s electric bus fleet increased to 770 units.<\/p>\n

The Electromobility Counter is updated by the Polish Automotive Industry Association and the Polish Alternative Fuels Association. The report shows how many electric vehicles are currently on Polish roads and how many charging stations are in operation. The study is based on analyses of data from the Central Vehicle Register (Centralna Ewidencja Pojazd\u00f3w), as well as own research and records.<\/p>\n

At the end of July 2022, there were 2293 publicly available electric vehicle charging stations (4431 points) in Poland. 29 % of them were direct current (DC) fast charging stations, and 71% – slow alternating current (AC) chargers with a capacity of 22 kW or less. In July, 61 new public charging stations (104 points) were launched.<\/p>\n
