Discussing the report, the “Rzeczpospolita” daily cited the results of a recent survey carried out as part of the Career Programme. According to it, Polish students and graduates most often expect a salary of PLN 3-5 thousand net, which, with allowances up to the age of 26, means PLN 3.8-6.4 thousand gross with an employment contract.<\/p>\n
The report also points to the increasing expectations of young employees regarding work flexibility (38 %) At the same time, the percentage of those in favour of working exclusively in an office has decreased by almost 20% (from 65.5 % to 46 %) over the past two years. Compared to the 2020-2021 survey results, the number of responses pointing that one of the most important elements at work is the ability to work remotely has increased by 10 %. This response is indicated by nearly 33% of respondents.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe pandemic has taught young people that they can study and work from anywhere. Moreover, they are convinced that being able to choose where and when they work has a positive impact on their productivity”, said Magdalena Pancewicz, co-founder of Well.hr.<\/p>\n
According to the report, professional success means a job that is a passion for nearly 25 % of young Poles. For almost 16%, it is a sense of meaningful work. According to the respondents, a success is also evidenced by high salaries (21.7 %). For 10 %, success means combining work with travelling.<\/p>\n
According to young Poles, the following will be most valued on the labour market in the future: openness and quick adaptation to changes, combining different skills, quick learning and IT skills.<\/p>\n
