Railway connections on the north-south axis also remain our priority. EU funding has been granted for the modernisation of the connection between Katowice and the Czech Republic&#8221;, said Andrzej Adamczyk, Infrastructure Minister.<\/p>\n<p>The cross-border road project, submitted in cooperation with Slovakia, will be implemented with the support of EU funds and the state budget. The CEF&#8217;s contribution to the realization of the S19 section Miejsce Piastowe &#8211; Dukla &#8211; Barwinek is EUR 327 million, which accounts for 66% of the investment value.<\/p>\n<p>The leader in obtaining CEF funds is the PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe company, which obtained the support of EUR 937 million for two railway projects on the section between Katowice and the Polish-Czech border.
