The leaders will discuss issues related to energy and infrastructure development as well as cooperation in defense. The talks will also concern the Russian aggression against Ukraine.<\/h5>\n<p>The heads of the Polish and Czech governments will also discuss issues within the European agenda, including challenges related to the development of the internal market. The talks will focus mainly on the EU climate policy, the enlargement of the European Union and the priorities of the Czech presidency of the EU Council, which will start on July 1, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>According to the government&#8217;s spokesman, Piotr M\u00fcller, after the bilateral meeting of the prime ministers in the morning, there will be a plenary session chaired by Mateusz Morawiecki and Petr Fiala.<\/p>\n<p>Departmental consultations will be conducted on defense, home affairs, economy and energy, finance issues, transport and cohesion policy.<\/p>\n<p>On the Polish side, the consultations will be attended by representatives of the ministries of national defense; home affairs and administration; regional funds and policy; climate and environment; state assets; infrastructure; development and technology and the Ministry of Finance.<\/p>\n<p>The effect of today&#8217;s joint intergovernmental consultations will be signing the Agreement on cooperation in defense, as well as the Agreement on cooperation between the Polish Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic, which will concern the development of transport connections connecting Polish seaports with the territory of the Czech Republic.<\/p>\n<p>Adrian Andrzejewski<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On June 3, in Prague, Prime Ministers of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki and the Czech Republic, Petr Fiali are holding the Polish-Czech intergovernmental consultations.
