{"id":18770,"date":"2022-05-24T10:07:44","date_gmt":"2022-05-24T08:07:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dignitynews.eu\/?p=18770"},"modified":"2022-05-24T17:41:10","modified_gmt":"2022-05-24T15:41:10","slug":"ministry-of-science-supporting-the-development-of-medical-faculties-in-poland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dignitynews.eu\/en\/ministry-of-science-supporting-the-development-of-medical-faculties-in-poland\/","title":{"rendered":"Ministry of Science supporting the development of medical faculties in Poland"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5><strong>Almost PLN 37 million was allocated by the Ministry of Education and Science for the development of the Pomeranian Medical University (PUM). \u201cThe development of medical faculties in Poland, with a very high demand for medical staff in every area, is a priority of the state policy (&#8230;) it is in the interest of the state and the entire Polish society\u201d, said the Minister of Education and Science, Przemys\u0142aw Czarnek during his visit to the newly opened Interdepartmental PUM Didactics Center in Szczecin.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>\u201cToday, we are inaugurating the operation of a &#8220;small pharmacy&#8221;, an ultra-modern building, providing comfortable conditions for work, study and research. Prof. Czarnek also told us that PUM achieves excellent results in terms of evaluation, and our Pharmacy is one of the leaders in Poland in terms of scientific achievements\u201d, said Prof. Bogus\u0142aw Machali\u0144ski, the rector of the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin.<\/p>\n<p>The rector\u2019s opinion was confirmed by the head of the Ministry of Science, who, referring to the preliminary results of the evaluation, stated that pharmaceutical science at the Pomeranian Medical University is at the highest level in Poland. \u201cIt received the highest category. This preliminary verification shows the great success of the Pomeranian Medical University\u201d, emphasized Minister Czarnek.<\/p>\n<p>Over PLN 30 million out of nearly PLN 37 million of subsidy, was allocated to the implementation of construction investment, and almost PLN 6.8 million is planned for the purchase of research equipment.<\/p>\n<p>The use of modern laboratory infrastructure is one of the main pillars of PUM&#8217;s activity. The university is focused on developing research, infrastructure and practice in the area of health care.<\/p>\n<p>PUM in Szczecin educates specialists in the faculties of Medicine and Dentistry, Health Sciences and Pharmacy, Medical Biotechnology and Laboratory Medicine. It conducts uniform master&#8217;s studies, bachelor&#8217;s, master&#8217;s, doctoral and post-graduate studies.
