He added that the war caused by Russia was “dramatically tragic” for Ukraine. Duda also spoke about the losses among soldiers and civilians as well as the determination of Ukrainians who do not easily give the Russians an inch of earth and are absolutely determined to defend themselves at all costs.<\/p>\n
In addition to meeting with President Zelensky, Andrzej Duda made a speech at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
\u201cI said one thing in Kyiv- the unity must be absolutely maintained in the face of Russian aggression; we must absolutely stand on the side of Ukraine. This unity must be maintained. There is no return to “business as usual” after Bucha, Borodyanka and Mariupol. When we can absolutely see who is the aggressor and who is the victim\u201d, said the president.<\/p>\n
He added that the Russians had failed to achieve any of their strategic goals and that the attack on Ukraine was not only a political but also a military failure.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is an impression that the Russians are now using a fatigue tactic. Not only are the Ukrainians tired of the long-lasting conflict, and daily bloody fights, but also the international community’s fatigue with sanctions, which are very costly for Russians, but also costly for the countries that have imposed these sanctions in order to stop Russia. They are also expensive for European societies\u201d, said the Polish president.<\/p>\n
