PERN will use Columbus Energy&#8217;s services in the field of photovoltaics.<\/h5>\n<p>This is another contract signed by a company from the renewable energy industry in 2022 with PERN. Currently, Columbus is preparing an analysis of the possibility of building photovoltaic installations in locations indicated by PERN. Columbus&#8217;s first task is to obtain grid connection conditions for photovoltaic installations for PERN&#8217;s 9 fuel and oil bases.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur main task at the present stage of cooperation is to prepare a concept for the construction of a photovoltaic installation and obtain all the required approvals, permits and decisions necessary to obtain the conditions for connecting the photovoltaic installation to the power grid. It is a very complex process due to the applicable law and the requirements related to obtaining environmental decisions\u201d, says Sebastian Lorenz, sales director at Columbus Energy.<\/p>\n<p>According to Columbus, by the end of 2022, PERN also intends to launch photovoltaic installations on the roof of the headquarters in P\u0142ock and green areas around the building, which will generate green energy for the office building. The first photovoltaic installation at the fuel base in Boron\u00f3w was built in 2020 and was a success.<\/p>\n<p>The PERN Group is a national and regional leader in raw material and fuel logistics. It manages a network of oil and product pipelines, and has about 4.1 million m3 of storage capacity for crude oil and about 2.2 million m3 for liquid fuels.
