The war complicated these plans, but the support of Poland and Lithuania will allow for the digitization and protection of Ukrainian culture in digital form.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI initially agreed and the Lithuanian minister also agreed that, since the European Union has not done it yet, Poland and Lithuania, together with Ukraine will create a fund for the digitization of Ukrainian culture\u201d, said Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Gli\u0144ski during a press conference after the meeting with the ministers of culture of the Lublin triangle countries (Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania) in Kyiv.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis will be a concrete step and we will implement that\u201d, emphasized Prof. Gli\u0144ski and informed that the &#8220;initial&#8221; fund of this venture will amount to about one million euros.<\/p>\n<p>The deputy prime minister and minister of culture emphasized that Poland was very committed to supporting Ukrainian culture.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor years, we have had very good relations with Ukrainians on the level of institutional and museum cooperation, and cooperation with archivists, our conservation teams have been working here for years &#8211; this is paying off today. The day before the war broke out, we established a special team at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage to coordinate this aid.
