\u201cMany of Ukrainians will stay with us for longer, so we want them to work. For them, it is a chance for independence and easier finding in the new reality. But it is also an opportunity for the Polish economy and the labor market, Ukrainian citizens can fill the gaps in some industries\u201d, says Minister Mal\u0105g.<\/p>\n
Today, Ukrainian citizens have free access to the Polish labor market – they no longer need permits or declarations to be able to legally work in Poland. The only formal requirement is imposed on the employer. He must notify the employment office of this fact within 14 days of starting work by a citizen of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
Most people found job in the Mazowieckie (14.1 thousand), as well as in Wielkopolska (7 thousand) and Lower Silesia voivodship (6.9 thousand). Almost half of Ukrainians perform simple work, 8.5% are office workers, and 4% are specialists. About 14% are industrial workers and artisans, and more than 10% are service and sales workers.<\/p>\n
People who came to Poland from Ukraine can register at the poviat labor office and use the offered instruments of professional activation, such as job placement, career counseling and training, also in learning Polish. For many people, seasonal jobs will also be a chance to find a job. The job fairs, both offline and online, may also be useful.<\/p>\n
