\u201cWe’ll never leave you alone. We will not leave you, because we know that you are fighting not only for your own homes, for your own homeland, freedom and security, but also for us. We are here today to admire your fight against such a brutal aggressor. This invasion must end\u201d, said Prime Minister Morawiecki and added that the European Union must grant Ukraine candidate status as soon as possible, and Ukraine must have a defensive weapon.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou have to have all of it and we will try to organize it from all over the world\u201d, declared Morawiecki.<\/p>\n
Deputy Prime Minister Jaros\u0142aw Kaczy\u0144ski expressed his words of appreciation and respect for President Zelensky, Prime Minister Shmyhal and the entire Ukrainian nation. He also expressed his sympathy for the victims.<\/p>\n
\u201c”I think that it is necessary to have a peace mission – NATO, possibly some wider international structure – but a mission that will be able to defend itself, which will operate on Ukrainian territory, which will be located in that country with the consent of the President and the government of Ukraine and it will not be defenceless mission. It will be a mission that will strive for peace, to provide humanitarian aid, but at the same time it will also be protected by appropriate and armed forces\u201d, emphasized Kaczy\u0144ski.<\/p>\n
Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa emphasized that Ukrainians defend their homeland and territory, but also the security of Europe.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou are also protecting something that is fundamental European principles: freedom, democracy, the right of each person to self-determination for himself, and for each country to be sovereign and choose its own path\u201d, added the head of the Slovenian government.<\/p>\n
The head of the Czech government, Piotr Fiala, said that the visit of prime ministers to Kyiv is to show support for the Ukrainian struggle and for the Ukrainian state.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe admire your courage, your struggle. You are fighting for your life, families, homeland and freedom. But we know very well that you are also fighting for our lives and for our freedom. You are not alone, our countries stand with you, Europe stands with you\u201d, he declared.<\/p>\n
